Over the years, our relationship with plant medicine has continued to deepen. Again and again, we have been reminded that this path extends far beyond ceremony. It is a relationship with the plants, the land, ourselves, and the ways we choose to live.
We are honored to invite you to join us for an intimate 19-day retreat and traditional master-plant dieta at Metsá-Kabi, held on Maestra Ángela López’s land in the Peruvian Amazon outside Iquitos.

A dieta offers the opportunity to step away from the noise and demands of everyday life and enter into a focused relationship with a master plant. Through simplicity, rest, intentional isolation, dietary restrictions, and the guidance of the healers, we create the conditions to listen more closely to what the plants may reveal.
This is not simply an ayahuasca retreat. It is an immersive healing process rooted in Shipibo tradition.
The journey will be guided by Maestra Ángela López and Urias García Nunta, whose knowledge of ayahuasca, master plants, and traditional healing has been passed down through generations. Working alongside Ángela and Urias has deepened our understanding of this medicine in ways we could not have imagined. They continue to teach us that dieta is not something we simply complete. It is a relationship that asks for humility, patience, discipline, and respect.
Throughout our time together, each participant will receive a personalized master-plant dieta based on their individual needs and the guidance of the healers. Ayahuasca ceremonies, plant baths, consultations, dieta meals, and periods of quiet reflection will support the process.
The retreat will also include gentle embodiment practices, breathwork, integration support, and opportunities to learn more about Amazonian plants and Shipibo traditions. Every element is intended to support a deeper connection with the medicine while allowing space for rest, listening, and integration.
The group will remain intentionally small so that each participant can receive meaningful attention and personal support from the healers and facilitation team.

A $1,000 deposit is required to reserve your place.
A portion of the proceeds directly supports the healers, their families, and community projects in Ucayali. Ayni, the sacred practice of reciprocity, remains at the heart of how we approach this work.
