Dear friends,
Over the years, our work with plant medicine has taught us that the deepest healing does not happen through ceremony alone.
It happens through preparation. Through cleansing. Through creating enough silence to listen. And through building a relationship with the plants over time.
This December, we are returning to Metsá-Kabi for an intimate 18-day ayahuasca retreat and traditional master plant dieta guided by Maestra Ángela López and Urias García Nunta.
December 1–18, 2026
Metsá-Kabi, outside Iquitos, Peru
This retreat is designed as a complete healing process.
The first five days will focus on preparation, evaluation and cleansing. Through ayahuasca ceremonies, individual consultations, plant baths and traditional Shipibo treatments, Ángela and Urias will take time to understand what each participant needs.
From there, they will create a personal healing protocol and select the master plant most appropriate for each person. This preparation creates a strong foundation so participants can enter their dieta feeling clear, supported and ready for the work.
For the remainder of the retreat, participants will enter a period of sacred silence, fasting, solitude and focused relationship with their chosen plant. Ayahuasca ceremonies will take place every two to three days, with individual icaros and traditional healing offered throughout the process.
The rhythm of these days will be intentionally simple. Time will be spent resting in your tambo, receiving your plant, journaling, meditating, observing your dreams and listening to what emerges without the distractions of everyday life.
Working alongside Ángela and Urias has deepened our relationship with plant medicine in ways we did not know were possible. They have taught us that dieta is not simply a retreat or something to complete. It is a relationship that asks for humility, patience, discipline and respect.
